Who this policy covers
This policy covers the Kalimatullah Android app and kalimatullahapp.com. Kalimatullah is published by Emanuel-Ciprian Pavel, the developer identified on the Google Play listing. For support or privacy questions, contact pavelemanuelciprian@gmail.com.
The app brings together Quran, prayer, devotional and learning tools. Its core use does not require a Kalimatullah email/password account. Some online services still use technical installation/session identifiers to protect the service and manage entitlements.
Information on your device
The app stores preferences and personal feature state locally, including language, selected prayer city and calculation settings, reading position, bookmarks and tags, private notes, devotional favorites and sets, counters, plans and progress. Downloaded or cached audio is also stored on your device.
This local reading and devotional state is not automatically uploaded to advertising partners. Clearing app storage or uninstalling can remove local information and downloads. Review the app’s data/settings controls before deleting anything you want to keep.
Companion and online services
When you use Companion, your message, relevant conversation context and the language/context needed for that request are sent over HTTPS to Kalimatullah’s API and the configured AI service to generate a reply. Optional remembered or journey context is handled according to the app’s privacy controls; it is not a reason to upload all of your private notes or devotional history.
The current service uses Cloudflare infrastructure and an AI provider. Provider processing can involve infrastructure outside your country. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information, passwords or payment details. Cloudflare’s privacy information and DeepSeek’s privacy information provide provider context; this Kalimatullah policy governs the app’s collection and use.
Technical identifiers, session proofs, usage reservations, reward transactions and purchase/entitlement records are processed by our backend to enforce allowances, prevent replay/abuse and restore legitimate benefits. These are operational records, not advertising profiles of religious practice. Online processing and provider retention differ from local on-device storage; clearing the phone’s app data does not itself delete server-held operational records.
Audio, content delivery and prayer settings
Playing or downloading audio makes an HTTPS request to the relevant content host, including Cloudflare-hosted storage. The host processes ordinary network information such as IP address and requested file for delivery and security. Bundled Quran text and licensed translations can be read without downloading their text from a server.
Prayer times use the city/coordinates and calculation settings you choose. The app does not need physical activity recognition or fitness tracking for Prayer Center or Qibla. Qibla uses orientation sensors. Notification and alarm permissions support the reminders you choose; audio foreground services support user-started playback.
Advertising and privacy choices
The free app may display Google AdMob ads. Google’s SDK can process advertising identifiers where available and permitted, technical device information, ad interactions and diagnostics. Active Premium suppresses third-party ad requests. Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s partner-service explanation describe Google’s processing.
Kalimatullah does not use your religion, Quran reading, private notes, prayer activity or devotional practice as ad-targeting signals. Applicable consent and privacy options are handled through Google’s User Messaging Platform, including the EEA, UK and Switzerland and relevant US privacy choices. Review available privacy/ad choices in app Settings. Non-personalized or limited ads may be used as supported by Google and your choices.
If you choose a Rewarded ad, its verification data is processed to confirm the earned benefit exactly once. Reward verification does not require sending your private Companion message or Quran notes to an advertiser.
Subscriptions and payments
Google Play handles purchases and payment details. Kalimatullah does not receive your full card number. Purchase tokens, subscription state and related verified order data are processed to provide Premium, restore access, manage funded Companion allowance and respond to cancellations, expiry or revocation.
Prices and renewal terms are shown by Google Play for your account and market. See Google Play subscription help for management/cancellation. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
This website and anonymous usage counts
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Ordinary HTTP information is processed to deliver and protect pages. Cloudflare may run browser security checks and use a necessary security cookie, such as cf_clearance; these are not advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts and app screenshots are served from this website. We do not add advertising cookies, cross-site analytics, an email mailing list or a website login.
We count a small set of aggregate website interactions: Google Play button clicks, FAQ opens, and feedback success/failure. Only the event type and a coarse website placement are counted. We do not attach message content, account/device identifiers, browsing URLs or a user profile. A server-side rotating keyed value derived from the network address limits spam; raw IP addresses are not stored in our feedback/metrics database. Short anti-spam event records are eligible for cleanup after ten minutes, while aggregate daily totals are eligible after one year. Cleanup runs when the website endpoint processes traffic.
Feedback and support messages
The feedback form asks for a category and message. Name and email are optional; the contact checkbox records whether you permit a follow-up. We use submissions to review ideas, content/language requests, bugs and support issues. They are saved in a dedicated, access-controlled Cloudflare database, available to the Kalimatullah operator. They are not publicly displayed, sold, used for advertising or automatically added to a mailing list.
We store the information you submit, a submission reference, timing and a rotating anti-spam value. The form validates length/type, removes HTML/control markup, checks a signed anti-spam token and limits submissions. A success message means storage was confirmed; retries with the same reference do not create a duplicate.
Submissions are marked for deletion after 180 days and are purged during routine endpoint cleanup. Older network-derived anti-spam values are eligible to be cleared after 24 hours. You can request earlier deletion at pavelemanuelciprian@gmail.com; include the feedback reference if you have it, but do not send a password or card details. Email sent directly to support is handled through the published support mailbox and may be retained as needed to resolve the request.
Your choices, security and requests
You can change app privacy choices, stop using optional online features, manage your subscription with Google Play and clear local information through app/Android settings. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict certain personal information. Contact pavelemanuelciprian@gmail.com for server-held data or website feedback requests; we may need enough information to locate the record and verify your authority.
We use HTTPS, access controls and server-side validation. No system can guarantee absolute security. Operational records are retained as needed for service integrity, legitimate entitlements, abuse prevention and applicable obligations, rather than assuming that uninstalling removes them.
Children and policy changes
Kalimatullah is a general-audience religious app. Parents or guardians should guide children’s use of online chat, advertising and purchases. If you believe a child supplied personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can review it.
We update this page when the app or website’s processing changes. The date above identifies this version. Material changes should be reviewed before continuing to use affected optional features.
