1. Introduction

Kalimatullah Quran ("the App", "we", "our") is an Android application that provides the Holy Quran with translations in 63 languages, audio recitations, AI-powered spiritual reflections, daily duas and adhkar, and prayer times. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app.

By using Kalimatullah Quran, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Kalimatullah Quran is designed with privacy as a priority:

• No account required. You can use all core features without creating an account or providing any personal information.
• No email addresses, phone numbers, or personal identifiers are collected or stored by us.
• No chat or reflection history is stored on our servers. Your conversations with the AI Reflector are processed in transit and not permanently stored.
• No analytics or tracking SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, or similar) are included in the app.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us:

• Your language preference and selected UI locale
• Your chosen city or coordinates for prayer time calculation
• Your prayer calculation method and settings
• Your subscription status (Free or VIP)
• Your daily AI message count (to enforce free-tier limits)
• Your bookmarked and favorite Quran verses
• Your last reading position in the Quran reader
• Cached audio files you have downloaded for offline listening

You can clear all locally stored data at any time by going to Settings → Clear Data within the app, or by clearing the app's storage through your Android device settings.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Google AdMob (Advertising)

Kalimatullah Quran displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob is a service provided by Google LLC that may collect and process certain data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.

AdMob may collect:

• Advertising ID (Android AAID) — a resettable identifier used for ad personalization and frequency capping
• IP address — for geolocation-based ad serving and fraud prevention
• Device information — device type, OS version, screen size, and language settings
• Ad interaction data — whether an ad was viewed, clicked, or engaged with

Google uses this data in accordance with its own Google Privacy Policy.

Opt-out: You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization at any time through your Android device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization. You may also upgrade to VIP within the app, which disables all advertisements entirely.

4.2 Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases)

Kalimatullah Quran offers optional premium subscriptions (VIP) through Google Play Billing. When you make a purchase, Google processes your payment information directly. We do not receive, store, or have access to your credit card details, billing address, or payment method. Google provides us only with a purchase token and subscription status.

4.3 AI Chat (Cloudflare Workers)

The Reflector feature — our AI-powered spiritual reflection assistant — sends your messages to a serverless function hosted on Cloudflare Workers for processing. Messages are transmitted over HTTPS and are processed by a third-party AI model (DeepSeek via AI Gateway).

Key points about AI chat:

• Messages are processed in transit only — we do not store your chat history on any server
• The AI provider receives your message text and your selected app language to generate a relevant response
• No personal identifiers are attached to chat requests
• Conversation context exists only during your current session and is discarded afterwards

4.4 Audio Content Delivery (Cloudflare R2)

Audio recitations, reflections, and dua/adhkar meanings are delivered from Cloudflare R2 object storage. When you play or download audio:

• A standard HTTPS request is made to our R2 public bucket
• The request includes only the file path (which identifies the audio track) and standard HTTP headers (including IP address, processed by Cloudflare for content delivery)

4.5 Quran Translation Data

Quran translations are bundled within the app and fetched from our CDN. Translation requests include only the surah number, ayah number, and your selected language code — no personal data is transmitted.

5. Prayer Times & Location

Prayer time calculation is performed entirely on your device using the adhan library. If you choose to set your city or coordinates for accurate prayer times, this data stays on your device and is never sent to any server. We do not track your location.

6. Children's Privacy

Kalimatullah Quran is a general-audience app for all ages. It does not contain harmful content and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Data Security

All network communications between the app and our backend services use HTTPS encryption. Locally stored data is protected by Android's application sandbox. We implement reasonable security measures, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under data protection laws (such as GDPR in Europe or CCPA in California). Since we do not collect or store personal information, most requests would have no data to act upon. However:

• You can clear all local data at any time through the app settings
• You can opt out of personalized ads through your Android device settings
• You can upgrade to VIP to disable all advertising

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you within the app. Continued use of Kalimatullah Quran after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
